Payments are processed securely by PayFast. Isibonelo is a registered public school — Section 18A tax certificates are issued to South African taxpayers, and international donors receive a formal acknowledgement letter.
Sponsor a Family's Monthly Food Parcel
Separate from our building projects, this is a monthly commitment that puts food on one household's table. Your sponsorship funds a food parcel through the school kiosk for a parent or family identified and coordinated by the school, so the support reaches a family we know and stays private and dignified.
You can pause or stop your monthly sponsorship at any time — just let us know.
Giving from outside South Africa
You are very welcome here. Supporters in the UK, USA, Europe, Australia and beyond already give to Isibonelo, and giving from abroad is simple — there's nothing extra you need to arrange.
Paying from abroad
All donations are processed in South African Rand (ZAR), and international credit and debit cards are accepted. Your bank simply converts from your home currency at the rate of the day — so R 450 may cost a little more or less depending on the exchange rate that day.
Your receipt & records
Section 18A tax certificates apply to South African taxpayers only. If you're giving from another country, the school will instead send you a formal donation acknowledgement letter on school letterhead — signed by the principal and suitable for your own records or your employer's matched-giving programme.
